Admissions and Registration
A student may take any of our courses without being admitted to an academic program. The Center for External studies encourages students to take some courses before applying for admission.

In order to be considered for enrollment via an academic program, a student must be:

  • 17 years of age or older.
  • a Christian.
  • a high school graduate or holder of the GED.
  • a member of an evangelical Protestant church.
Academic Programs
The Center of External Studies offers three college credit academic programs. As student does not have to be enrolled in an academic program to take individual courses. However, working in a program can help keep studies focused and will help the student set a goal. (Transcripts for individual courses can be sent to other schools at the student's request).
Our Academic Programs include:
    • Associate of Biblical Studies (ABS) degree
    • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
    • Certificate in Biblical Studies

Advising
Academic advising is available for those who apply for one of our three degree programs. Students must have applied to be told what previous credits will transfer into one of our degree programs. To apply, go to our website under Enrollment and Admissions and asked to be sent an application packet.

Bookstore
Online students can order any textbooks that are required from www.moodypress.org, www.Christianbook.com, or www.amazon.com.

Financial Aid
Moody Bible Institute has chosen not to register for the various student financial aid programs available through federal and state government agencies. However we do recognize the following military assistance.

GI Bill and Veterans Study
The Veterans Affairs (VA) office approves funding of MoodyOnline courses under the GI Bill. Email MoodyOnline@moody.edu for more information.


Military Tuition Assistance
Moody Online courses qualify for tuition assistance (TA). For questions concerning Military Tuition Assistance please check the DANTES web page. Currently, for Online courses, registration tuition can only be paid via credit card. Email MoodyOnline@moody.edu for more information.

Library
Students have access to Moody Bible Institute's online catalog through our web site at http://library.moody.edu/public/

Testing Services
Moody Bible Institute does not offer testing services.
